MeadowBrook Veterinary Hospital offers the highest quality care and treatment for both equine and small animal patients. Dr.. Brooks is a 1984 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine. He specializes in surgery, lameness, and reproduction. He worked with practitioners in California at the race tracks and specialized breeding operations. After coming to Kansas, he practiced for several years at many large breeding, show horse and racing farms along with seeing small animal patients. He opened MeadowBrook Veterinary Hospital in 1996.

Dr. Brooks has attended several in depth continuing educations courses to further his specialties in lameness, reproduction and surgery. Dr Brooks also became certified in Acupuncture in 2001 by attending the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine associated with the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine. He provides acupuncture and Chinese medicine for both equine and small animals. At the present time, he is the only certified veterinary acupuncturist located in South Central Kansas.
